About Steve

Steve has been a thought leader in the nutrition industry for over 20 years through his consultancy, as an executive and an advisor. Steve has worked with entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. His exuberance, ingenuity, and pragmatic approach have helped build several global brands and contributed to the better health of millions.

Steve’s been an innovator of many ingredients and product firsts that have included lutein, Ester-C, omega-3, curcumin, and, most recently, the development of the microbiome category in nutrition.

Steve graduated from Iowa State University and has remained an active alumnus. Steve’s also a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity where he has served in a number of leadership capacities.

Steve’s hobbies include being an exhibited Polaroid photographer, arts advocate, active music lover, and a world traveler.
